Your rights

You can see what is held, correct it, object, withdraw consent and have it erased. Use the rights access point with your receipt number: no account and no identification needed. Withdrawal, objection and erasure of a self-assessment or a comment take effect at once. Other requests are acknowledged within 7 days and answered within 30. You can also write to info@transparencylab.ca.

You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, in Quebec, to the Commission d'accès à l'information.

A closed demonstration

The notice receipt demonstration at /wg5-2026 closed on 20 October 2026, and the address now leads to the comment board. Receipt numbers it issued (TL-2026-NOTICE-) can still be used at the rights access point.

Changes

When our practices change, the notice gets a new version and the change is recorded in the notice event log, so a receipt always points to the version you were shown.
